Education
SCAPE’s public art education workshops at Tūranga give students a unique opportunity to visit one of our legacy works in person and then complete an art-making activity inspired by this experience.
All our workshops are delivered by an experienced art educator.
Workshops are free of charge, thanks to SCAPE’s sponsors, funders and patrons. We even offer free buses to low decile schools.
Key details
Morning sessions are 10 -11.30am and afternoon sessions 12.30 – 2pm. These are delivered from the activities room in Tūranga library, although we can deliver them as outreach sessions at your school or community space if circumstances require. We can take a maximum 30 students per session (so 60 in total over the day).
