Ruby William’s art has been something she has worked at since a young age. Her 2.5-metre steel branch sculpture design Imprint was produced by SCAPE and was fixed to a tree in Hagley Park. Ruby said her sculpture would create a consciousness of the space where a real branch once grew.

Ruby was selected from an open call made in early June 2017 for young artists’ unique designs to be submitted. The two winners’ projects (junior and senior) were built and displayed in the park as part of SCAPE Season 2017.
