Common Coop Co-op by Dan Arps for SCAPE 7

The gathering of sculptural objects that constituted Dan Arps’ Common Coop Co-op looked to both Christchurch’s history and the history of Modernism. Sharing a vacant city block with the work of Fiona Connor and so constituting a mini-sculpture park of sorts, Arps’ work encouraged us to consider the way that public space was being redefined.
