Since 1998, SCAPE Public Art Trust has brought public spaces into the spotlight by installing and promoting public art in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Our commissioning programme has produced over 216 temporary public artworks and 15 legacy artworks building a world-class public art collection for the city.

If you are inspired by the power of the arts and would like to get work experience (voluntary) to enhance and utilise your unique set of skills and be part of a passionate motivated team that delivers a world-class major national annual public arts programme, we would like to hear from you!

We have a range of internship/volunteer opportunities now available to join our team.

We are looking for proactive, conscientious, art-loving individuals. You will need to be resourceful, energetic, eager to learn, resilient, extremely well organised and enjoy working alongside like-minded team players.

It would be helpful for interns to have their own laptop as some work may be required to be done remotely, and preferably have a driver’s license.

The hours are flexible to fit with work and study commitments and the roles will commence from June to December (exact dates to be confirmed). Some evening and weekend work may be required.
